Stefan, what exactly does Otto Sturm e.K. do?
We have two mainstays: On the one hand, we sell office supplies such as printer paper, neon markers, folders, and much more in our online store www.sturm-eningen.de . On the other hand, we also do office equipment, everything to do with furniture and interior design – office chairs, tables, cabinets, workstations for small offices. Our particular strength here is our intensive and personal advice. When it comes to office chairs, for example, we focus on ergonomics and healthy sitting. We take a holistic look at the workplace and provide additional advice on light sources, screen orientation, acoustics, occupational safety and many other factors.
I`m sure a lot has changed in the office business since your grandfather founded the family business in 1932 - which change would be the first thing that springs to mind?
The shift towards a focus on service. In the past, you used to buy a product, but today, good advice, especially regarding ergonomics, is an important part of the purchase, for which our customers are very grateful.
